9 PASSENGER EXTENDED CONVERSION VANS

9 PASSENGER extended conversion vans are becoming more popular. The Chevy 155" wheel base chassis gives the ability to have 4 rows of seats. The vans can be a low top making it garagable at a 7 foot height or you can opt for a hi-top with a big screen TV. Ford offers its version called a Super Van. They are the roomiest way to travel with a big group. People are finding vans more comfortable with many amenities for over the road travel. Previous SUV owners are switching to conversion vans for more comfort and space.

  • How do big vans compare to SUVs for gas mileage?

  • A typical full size van gets between 14-20 miles per gallon which compares favorably to a full size SUV. In addition the interior space in a van is considerably greater.

  • Used conversion vans are extremely hard to find. The 9 passengers vans are almost impossible to find used as less than 10% of conversions are done on an extended chassis. I have contacts with a few manufacturers that can offer factory direct pricing. Feel free to email me if you are interested. discountvans@aol.com
